We will hold a Program Planning meeting for our pack to schedule
our events for the coming year. We want input from our families on
activities we will do and where we will focus our effort. We will meet
at Cullowhee Methodist church on Monday, July 28th at 6 pm in the
"library" room - across the hall from the big room where we normally
meet for scouts. Please plan on around two hours. We will have some
pizza on hand for a "working supper."
We are not planning on activities for kids and ask that only parents come. If you have any questions, please contact me (828.399.1657) or Eric Hester, our committee chair.
If
you are interested in volunteering in some capacity with the pack,
whether helping with one activity or task or being a den leader, this is
a great time to let us know and figure out how to include you and your
skills.

Fontana Dam Trip - Details
Fontana Dam Trip - Saturday July 19
We will leave from Cullowhee United Methodist Church at 10:30 am and convoy there. We should get there at about lunch time - please bring a picnic lunch for yourselves. After lunch we will spend some time in the visitor's center to learn about the dam, then have about a 30 minute hike on the trail, depending on the weather. Make sure to bring plenty of water, any snacks you want, and comfortable shoes and clothes.

If your scout hasn't earned the Hiking belt loop yet, this is a good opportunity:
