Cub-Parent Weekend - April 25-26

The Cub-Parent Weekend campout will be held April 25-26 at Camp Daniel Boone. Cost is $30 per cub/parent pair, plus an additional $12 for each scout or parent. Siblings are not allowed on this trip. See the flyer for more information. We have to register as a pack and Friday, April 17 is the deadline. So, our pack deadline is this Monday. Please come ready to register and with your payment in cash or check. Note that if your scout sold camp cards, proceeds from that can go to cover this campout. If we don't have BSA medical forms on file for you and your scout, please fill out a copy for both of you and bring that when you register. These campouts are always great fun so I encourage you to come!

Fontana Dam Trip - Details

Fontana Dam Trip - Saturday July 19
We will leave from Cullowhee United Methodist Church at 10:30 am and convoy there.  We should get there at about lunch time - please bring a picnic lunch for yourselves.  After lunch we will spend some time in the visitor's center to learn about the dam, then have about a 30 minute hike on the trail, depending on the weather. Make sure to bring plenty of water, any snacks you want, and comfortable shoes and clothes.

July 19 - Fontana Dam Trip

Saturday, July 19th seems to be the date that most people can do something, so we will have a pack trip to Fontana Dam that day. Tentatively, we will meet at Cullowhee UMC, caravan over, have a picnic lunch and check out the dam, the visitor's center, and have a hike on the nearby trail.  I'll send more details closer to the date.  For now, please mark your calendars!

Recruitment Planning
TODAY: Sept. 9, 7 pm, Cullowhee UMC
Parents - we will plan out the several activities we need to accomplish for our recruitment night on Sept. 19.

Rally Night

Thursday, Sept. 19, 6-8 pm, Cullowhee Rec Center

We will have our big recruitment drive this evening.  Though returning boys don't need to sign up or pay that night, please come with them in uniform so they can interact with the boys we're recruiting.

First Pack Meeting

Come to our first Pack Meeting on Monday, Sept. 23rd, at 6:00 pm. 

Tiger Fun Day (Tigers Only)

Saturday, Sept. 28, 9 am until 3:30 pm
This is for all Tiger scouts and will be held at Camp Daniel Boone.  Cost is $8 and includes patch, program, and lunch.  Registration forms and payment are due the evening of our first pack meeting, Sept. 23rd.  Each Tiger cub must be accompanied by one adult partner.  Sorry, no siblings or other family members.

Cataloochee District Cuboree (Wolves, Bears, and Webelos only)

Saturday, Sept. 28, until Sunday morning, Sept. 29.  Camp Daniel Boone

Registration opens at 9 am and the program starts Saturday at 12:15.  We should wrap up by Sunday morning after breakfast.  Cost is $15 per person - families welcome.  Lunch on Saturday is NOT included so bring a bag lunch.  Registration forms and payment are due the evening of our first pack meeting, Sept. 23rd.
